In the 90's and pushed by private initiatives environmental and social projects in the area of the Puna were born. The Puna is a plateau in the north-west of Argentina.
In 1999 the EcoAndina Foundation was formed to integrate all of these ongoing projects. This website informs about the results of some ongoing as well as prior projects.
